Speak-Y sends a transcription.completed event for every new record in the team channels you choose: summary, action items and the full transcript as JSON, signed with HMAC-SHA256 in the X-Speaky-Signature header. Deliveries carry an X-Speaky-Delivery ID for deduplication and are retried with backoff for up to seven days when your endpoint is down.
The webhook is sent by the Speak-Y app on your Mac, not by our server. Records in team channels are end-to-end encrypted and the server cannot read them, which is also why there is no REST API with keys for reading recordings. Point the webhook at your own server, Zapier or Make.
For reading on demand there is the built-in MCP server: Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients search your library and read transcripts locally.
